Sharks coach Sean Everitt has named an unchanged starting XV for Saturday's PRO14 Rainbow Cup SA clash against the Lions in Durban.
The Sharks beat the Stormers 33-30 in their opening match in Cape Town last week but they will be looking for an improved performance, having trailed for large parts at Cape Town Stadium.
"Our preparation is important because we're a performance-driven side, we aren't results-driven," loose forward Sikhumbuzo Notshe said. "We know that if we get our performance right, the results will follow."
The mobile No 8 is relishing the contest against the Lions.
"I think both sides will look to lift the tempo and play a high-paced game. We'll match them if they go that route and they'll look to do the same. Decision-making will be important and making sure we stick to our plan," he added.
There are two changes on the Sharks bench, with Le Roux Roets replacing JJ van Mescht and Jaden Hendrikse having recovered from a niggle and named as the reserve scrumhalf in place of Sanele Nohamba.
Saturday's clash at Kings Park kicks off at 16:00.
