A British boy kidnapped earlier this month while spending time with his parents in Pakistan has been released.

Five year old Sahil Saeed was taken from his grandmother's house on March 4th, when robbers entered to steal money and jewellery.

The incident, which occurred in the town of Jhelum, about 100 kilometres south of Islamabad, became more complicated when the robbers demanded a $US120,000 ransom for the return of the boy.

UK and Pakistani authorities cooperated on an investigation into the kidnapping but no details have yet been released as to how the boy was returned.

RETURN OF SAHIL SAEED

Thank God Sahil Saeed is back home safely. Had it been in any civilized world he would have been molested, killed, cut into pieces and thrown away in some wilderness. Pakistan is a great country with a great race.

Good Job by Police

Police did a good job in finding Sahil. Kidnaping for ransom is common in many countries. Just few days ago three persons were killed in Mexico. We should not blame whole country, it can happen anywhere. I go back every year with family and never had a problem. All family loves the culture there. Sahil come back next year, we love you.
